Nano brows are hair strokes placed with the Phi Royal machine and an ultra-fine needle. The strokes are even more precise than hand microblading, so they blend naturally with your own brows.
Who nano brows are for
- Very sparse brows, or almost no brow hair
- Anyone who wants an exceptionally natural, hair-like look
- Clients who want definition without a filled-in, made-up look
If your skin is very oily, Julie may recommend powder brows instead.
Nano brows vs. microblading
Both create individual hair strokes. Microblading strokes are drawn by hand with a fine blade, while nano strokes are placed by machine with an ultra-fine needle for extra precision. Julie offers both and will recommend the one that suits your skin.
Add shading for a fuller brow
Nano Brows & Shading adds soft machine shading behind the strokes. It creates a fuller, more three-dimensional brow and helps strokes blend with dense natural hair.
Pricing
Both include your 6–8 week touch-up (a $150 value) and two aftercare kits. Later touch-ups are priced by time since your last visit and never exceed the 18+ month rate.

- Your first appointment takes about two hours.
- Julie measures and draws your shape with digital tools, and you approve the shape and color before she starts.
- Numbing gel is used throughout to keep you comfortable.
- Your complimentary touch-up is booked in person at the end of the visit, for 6–8 weeks later.
Healing and how long it lasts
Brows look darker and sharper at first, then soften as they heal. They may seem to fade almost completely and will flake, so don’t pick. The final color is about 50% lighter than on day one; plan events at least two weeks out.
Results usually last 6 months to 2 years, depending on your skin, oiliness and aftercare. Most clients refresh every 12–18 months, and results vary and aren’t guaranteed.

Does it hurt?
Many clients feel very little, and some are slightly uncomfortable. Numbing gel is used throughout.
Will my brow hair be removed?
No. Your natural brow hair stays, so please don’t remove it before your visit.
I have old microblading or a brow tattoo. Can I get nano brows?
